Downtowner @jeju는 제주도의 환경과 요소를 브랜드의 방식으로 재해석하여 공간에 적용한 프로젝트다.

제주 돌담에서 영감을 받은 벽체는 호피석을 사용하여 구성되며, 전통적인 쌓기 방식을 차용해 새로운 질감과 패턴으로 표현되었다. 이는 지역적 이미지를 유지하면서도 공간 안에서 다른 방식으로 인식되도록 만든다.

의자는 제주도의 억새풀에서 영감을 받아 제작되었으며, 투명한 PVC 커버를 더해 그 위에 앉는 듯한 감각을 형성한다. 자연의 요소는 형태와 재료를 통해 변환되어 공간 안에서 새로운 경험으로 작동한다.

브랜드 컬러인 블루는 이러한 요소들 사이에서 유지되며, 공간 전체를 하나의 인상으로 연결한다. 지역성과 브랜드가 겹쳐지며 익숙하면서도 다른 장면이 형성된다.

Downtowner @jeju is a project that reinterprets the environment and elements of Jeju through the brand’s approach and applies them to the space.

Walls inspired by Jeju’s stone fences are constructed using Hopi stone, adopting traditional stacking methods while expressing new textures and patterns. This allows the regional image to be maintained while being perceived in a different way within the space.

Seating is designed based on Jeju’s silver grass, with transparent PVC covers added to create the sensation of sitting on it. Natural elements are translated through form and material, operating as a new spatial experience.

The brand’s signature blue is maintained among these elements, connecting the space into a unified impression. As regional characteristics and brand identity overlap, a scene that feels both familiar and distinct is formed.
