LiFT는 기계적 구조를 통해 공간을 하나의 장면으로 구성한 프로젝트다.

공간의 중심에는 자동차가 놓이고, 이를 둘러싼 붉은 철골 구조는 단순한 설비를 넘어 하나의 프레임으로 작동한다. 체인과 모터, 반복되는 구조 요소들은 실제 기능을 암시하면서도, 동시에 장면을 구성하는 시각적 장치로 작용한다.

철골 구조 상부에 설치된 바리솔 조명은 공간의 분위기를 결정짓는 핵심 요소다. 다양한 컬러로 연출 가능한 이 조명은 동일한 공간을 전혀 다른 장면으로 전환시키며, 물리적 변화 없이도 공간의 인상을 유동적으로 변화시킨다.

카 리프트를 통해 진입하는 동선은 외부와 내부를 단절시키고, 사용자는 하나의 장면 속으로 들어오듯 공간을 경험하게 된다. 내부에서는 구조, 빛, 오브제가 서로 관계를 맺으며, 각각의 요소가 독립적이기보다 하나의 구성으로 읽힌다.

결과적으로 이 공간은 고정된 형태가 아닌, 빛에 의해 끊임없이 재구성되는 장면으로 작동한다.

LiFT is a project that constructs space as a staged scene through mechanical structures.

At the center of the space sits a car, surrounded by a vivid red steel framework that functions not merely as equipment, but as a framing device. Chains, motors, and repetitive structural elements suggest functional systems while simultaneously acting as visual components that compose the scene.

A Barrisol lighting system installed above the structure plays a key role in defining the atmosphere. Capable of producing a wide range of colors, the lighting transforms the same space into entirely different scenes, dynamically altering its perception without any physical change.

The entry sequence through a car lift isolates the interior from the outside, allowing the user to experience the space as if stepping into a constructed scene. Inside, structure, light, and objects interact as a cohesive composition rather than independent elements.

Ultimately, the space operates not as a fixed environment, but as a continuously reconfigured scene shaped by light.
