Salt house deli는 브랜드가 지닌 크래프트한 성격을 공간적으로 풀어낸 프로젝트이다.

공간은 완성된 결과보다, 만들어지는 과정과 손의 개입이 드러나는 상태에 집중한다. 조명, 가구, 벽면 마감에 이르기까지 모든 요소는 정제된 마감 대신, 제작 과정에서 발생하는 흔적과 질감을 그대로 드러내도록 구성되었다.

가구는 금속과 목재를 기반으로 제작되며, 구조와 조립 방식이 숨겨지지 않고 노출된다. 각 요소는 하나의 완결된 오브제라기보다, 여러 부재가 결합되어 만들어진 결과로 인식된다.

바 전면의 금속 마감은 판넬을 이어 붙인 패치워크 방식으로 구성되며, 용접 라인을 의도적으로 드러낸다. 이는 매끈하게 마감된 표면이 아닌, 재료가 결합되는 과정을 시각적으로 드러내는 장치로 작동한다.

천정의 조명은 일정한 간격과 구조를 유지하면서도, 원자재의 상태를 그대로 드러낸 채 결합된 형태로 구성된다. 이는 균일한 시스템 안에서 제작의 흔적을 드러내며, 공간 전반에 크래프트한 태도를 형성한다.

Salt house deli is a project that translates the brand’s craft-oriented identity into spatial form.

Rather than presenting a refined and finished result, the space emphasizes the presence of manual intervention and the traces of making. From lighting and furniture to wall finishes, elements are intentionally left in a state where textures and marks from the fabrication process remain visible.

Furniture is constructed using metal and wood, with its structural logic and assembly deliberately exposed. Each piece is perceived not as a singular object, but as an outcome of multiple components coming together.

The front of the bar is finished with metal panels assembled in a patchwork manner, where welding lines are intentionally revealed. This approach highlights the process of joining materials, rather than concealing it behind a seamless surface.

Ceiling lighting maintains a consistent structure and spacing, while exposing raw materials in their original state and assembling them as they are. This reveals the traces of making within a uniform system, reinforcing the craft-oriented attitude of the space.

The space is completed in a refined state while simultaneously revealing the process and traces of its making.
