그레이팅, 목재, 금속 등 동일한 재료를 유지하면서도, 적용되는 위치와 방식에 변화를 주어 공간의 인상을 다르게 형성한다. 성수점에서 구조와 가구로 사용되었던 요소들은 이곳에서 벽면과 구성 요소로 재배치되며, 익숙한 재료는 새로운 방식으로 읽히게 된다.

Swallow Lounge @hannam is a space that reconfigures the materials used in the Seongsu location by altering their application and placement.

While maintaining the same palette—grating, wood, and metal—the project shifts how these materials are used to produce a different spatial impression. Elements that previously functioned as structure and furniture are repositioned here as walls and compositional components, allowing familiar materials to be perceived in a new way.

This approach does not simply create variation, but operates as a reinterpretation within a consistent framework. The materials remain the same, yet their altered use generates a distinct spatial character.

Ultimately, a new combination emerges from the same material language, revealing both continuity and transformation within a single spatial system.
